The Company

Michaelo Espresso, Inc. was established by Michael Myers in 1983. His vision was to provide the highest quality espresso equipment and services to the dedicated Seattle market. The Seattle-based company has become a well established partner to a strong and diversified customer base, both local and national.

Michaelo imports and distributes both La San Marco and Cafina Equipment. La San Marco is a trusted name in the industry, regarded highly as among the best of the Italian traditional machines. Based in Switzerland, the Cafina brand is often equated with the pinnacle of automated technology and a benchmark in the super-automatic industry. We understand it takes more than just a high quality espresso machine to help your passion become your livelihood. In recognizing this we offer personalized consulting and a dedicated service system to support you every step of the way.

Our Story

Today Michaelo Espresso prides itself on over 20 years of hands on experience, offering the highest quality equipment and service to a vastly diversified local, national & international customer base. President, Michael Myers began the company in his Seattle basement and has evolved the business around the phenomenal growth of the specialty coffee industry.

Michael began servicing espresso equipment throughout Seattle in the early 80s. The opportunity was ripe as the specialty coffee market was just beginning to take off. Inspired to satisfy the growing need for quality equipment and service to match, Michael traveled to Italy on a quest to find the highest quality machine, hoping to partner with a solid manufacturer. Michael solidified a relationship with La San Marco, world renowned for their espresso machines since 1920.

When espresso moved from its home in the specialty beverage niche to mainstream culture, it brought with it new customers and a multitude of business opportunities. Superautomatic machines came about as the quick and effective solution for businesses who wanted to retain the integrity of their product with an easy-to-use, high-performance machine. Michaelo introduced the highest end of superautomatic machines into the United States in 1997. Michaelo Espresso has worked firsthand with Cafina to develop a machine fit for the discerning US market. The Cafina c5 won best in show at Seattle's "Coffee Fest" in 2004 and 2005 and continues to grow in popularity.

Today, Michaelo Espresso focuses on matching customers with a machine that will best represent their coffee. The company prides itself in helping customers protect their investment by offering the best water filtration systems, accessories, and only true factory parts. Michaelo is the total package, and helping espresso enthusiasts partner with the equipment that will make their products stand out in a competitive market. It's all about the end result.
